Thomas Hickey
Thomas Hickey has more than 35 years’ experience in the medical device industry and executive-level experience with manufactures and Group Purchasing Organizations [GPOs]. Thomas is skilled at launches, start-ups, international distribution, technology assessment and assessing market feasibility. He has successfully launched several products and hired, coached, trained, motivated, and optimized many independent and distributor sales team members. His other areas of expertise include key account enterprise-selling strategies, Original Equipment Manufacturers [OEMs], and distribution development. He is also credentialed for surgical services, procedures and support. Thomas has won multiple leadership awards the Bob Anderson Sales Leadership Award while at Valleylab, Inc., as well as the MDE President’s Club Award Distributor of the Year and Gish BioMedical Distributor of the Year while at MediQuest. More recently, he launched the podcast MedTech Gurus to help medical device executives stay on top of the industry.
