About UKRC
UKRC is an annual event and consists of a three-day multidisciplinary scientific conference and technical exhibition which run simultaneously in one location. UKRC is aimed at all those involved in the field of radiological science and attracts between 3,000-4,000 people a year.
Professor Iain Lyburn is the Congress President for UKRC 2015. He is a Consultant Radiologist at Cheltenham Imaging Centre. Iain studied at the University of Bristol and qualified in 1991, becoming FRCR in 1998 and completing a Fellowship in Radiology at The University of British Columbia, Canada in 2000. He is currently Medical Director and Lead for Molecular Imaging and Research at The Cobalt Imaging Centre, Cheltenham and Clinical Director of the Gloucestershire Breast screening programme. He has taken on the role of Congress President for the first time in 2013.
Anyone with an interest in imaging in healthcare and diagnostic imaging including radiographers, radiologists, physicists, business managers, radiology, service managers, IT managers, academics, hospital managers, engineers, technicians, purchasing & supplies managers, industrialists, radiotherapists, oncologists, radiation protection advisors and radiation protection supervisors.
