Over the course of 2 days, European experts in breast ultrasound will:
- provide up-to-date reviews on the use of breast ultrasound to detect, characterise and stage benign and malignant breast lesions;
- emphasise the basic principles of interpreting and reporting breast ultrasound examinations;
- provide an extended, in-depth review of best practices in breast imaging with ultrasound;
- present hot topics and emerging applications;
- utilise interactive teaching as well as problem-solving case presentation.
- Moreover, they will employ workshops to allow hands-on experience of US-guided biopsy and minimal invasive therapy of breast lesions.
DFP Accreditation
The Austrian Medical Chamber has granted 16 DFP (Diplom-Fortbildungs-Programm) credits for participation in the EUSOBI Diagnostic and Interventional Breast Ultrasound Course 2016.
Course Limit
The EUSOBI Breast Ultrasound Course 2016 is limited to a maximum of 90 participants. Kindly note, EUSOBI is not offering any waiting lists and places are offered upon "first-come, first-served basis". Unpaid registrations or registrations in progress (bank transfer in progress) may not be considered as finalised and places will be given to other interested participants after two weeks.

* Reduced member registrations are available to all active EUSOBI Members.
** Reduced resident registrations will be offered to residents (young radiologists in training). Residents have to send, fax or email a letter, written on official hospital letter paper and signed by the head of department, confirming their status as such within 5 working days after on-line registration. In case this confirmation is not received, the registration fee will be automatically adjusted to a regular fee. The age limit for a registration as a resident is set at 35 years (incl. the age of 35).
