Following the success of our inaugural World Imaging Congress in February 2023 where a record number of international leaders and experts in the imaging and scientific fields collaborated to deliver an outstanding congress, the BIR WIC will return on 3 February 2024 for another virtual congress that are suitable for all professionals and trainees from all over the world including scientists, radiographers, radiologists, and radiology managers.
The British Institute of Radiology recognises that there are variations in practice in different parts of the world, and therefore there are many opportunities for shared learning, collaboration, and innovation. The programme of the day will showcase one of BIR’s international objectives through its World Partner Network to enhance patient care in all parts of the world. Speakers representing the respective international societies along with international experts from different fields will all come together to enrich our knowledge, understanding, and development of imaging and radiation oncology for the benefits of people and patients.
The themes for the congress this year will encompass innovations and technologies, network and collaborations, and imaging and management of infectious diseases.
