Brought to you by the organizers and faculty of the popular "Yale New England Point of Care Ultrasound Course", we bring to you our "9th year of the Yale "Caribbean" Point of Care Ultrasound course"! Come and experience the bliss white sandy beach and aquamarine waters in tropical paradise, Clearwater Florida while learning crucial ultrasound skills that will change your daily practice. This course continues to use our signature “two-track” approach. The acquisition for the core areas (e.g. FAST, echo, biliary, DVT, venous access), while the advanced track will build a basic foundation with an emphasis on Doppler, musculoskeletal scanning & procedures, and critical care. Using our successful two-track format to prioritize a low student: faculty ratio, we offer a large amount of hands-on time with live models. We start with basic techniques, gradually building to more advanced integrative clinical scenarios. By the end of the course, you will be proficient with the Ultrasound skills needed to start using it right away! This event also provides an excellent chance to compare machines side-by-side.
