At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize improved results from centers that have formally implemented enhanced recovery protocols based on international guidelines.
- Identify which elements of enhanced recovery guidelines they are already incorporating in their practice, and which can be improved.
- Comprehend recommendations for improving patient education.
- Propose protocols for additional surgical procedures at their facility.
- Apply recommendations regarding auditing processes and outcomes, including patient reported outcomes.
