Valencia will host the celebration of the VIII Congress AECIMA (Spanish Association of Breast Surgeons), which will take place on 16, 17 and 18 May 2019 at the Official College of Physicians of Valencia. The organisation of the VIII AECIMA Congress will be led by Dr. Carlos A. Fuster Diana, Head of the Functional Unit of Mama Consortium General University Hospital of Valencia.
This congress was born with the vocation of being a multidisciplinary meeting in which surgeons of all surgical specialties, gynaecologists, plastic surgeons and any medical specialty involved in the treatment of breast disease participate.
Another of the main objectives of this congress will be to involve other medical specialties such as medical oncology and radiotherapy, to provide their point of view.
The organising committee has developed a comprehensive and current scientific program with the objective of stimulating the participation of the attendees in each of the activities. As other years we will have international figures such as; Dr. Douglas Macmillan Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon at the Nottingham Institute and Dr. Philip Poortmans Head of the Department of Radiology Oncology at Raadboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
There will be pre-congress courses, workshops, lectures and lectures on the most current topics in Breast Surgery.
We have the best national and international specialists in Pathology and Surgery of the Breast, so we invite you to participate in this congress, contributing experiences from your hospitals and sharing your concerns.
