The hands-on event is a SCCT-accredited course designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of physicians who interpret cardiac CT. It will encompass a exploration of all aspects of cardiovascular CT with emphasis on scan interpretation related to day to day clinical practice. Limited didactic lectures with strong emphasis on image-based case examples, interactive sessions with faulty are designed to increase the competency and performance. The course includes interactive sessions that will focus on the "core" knowledge that every practitioner of cardiovascular CT is expected to know, across a wide range of topics, such as coronary evaluation, plaque features, grafts, valvular heart disease, transcatheter valve planning, structural heart disease, masses, pericardial pathology and other commonly encountered clinical scenarios. Course highlights include independent workstations, actual cases selected for their teaching potential, and one on one interaction with faculty.
This virtual-based, two-day course will offer 50 cases with cath correlation on a hands-on systems along with didactic lectures. Cases will eligible for Level 2 case credits.
For optimal experience, we strongly recommend the following for this tailored workshop:
- 2 screens or 1 large monitor
- An external mouse
- Great internet connection
- Computer with great audio and a microphone
- Need to be on the workshop the entire two days, this will not be recorded and not shared with them after the fact, only Live.

Accessing the platform
The activity will be hosted on the RingCentral platform. It’s very similar to Zoom. Pre-registration required.
The platform can only be accessed from a PC/Mac computer. Cellphones and tablets are not recommended. If you are accessing from a Mac, you will need to download the RingCentral App prior to accessing the platform.
It is recommended that participants test their access to the RingCentral platform via the access link provided via email the week of the event prior to start of the activity.
