Welcome to the 12th International Conference on Pediatric Mechanical Circulatory Support Systems & Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Perfusion. The overall objective of the conference has been to bring together internationally recognized clinicians, bioengineers and basic scientists involved in research on pediatric mechanical circulatory support (MCS) system and pediatric cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) physiology.

Learning Objectives:
- Evaluate the impact of unique features and outcomes for pediatric mechanical circulatory support systems.
- Compare the benefits and risks of current and new extracorporeal life support systems (ECLS) systems.
- Determine how and where to implement cutting edge bioengineering approaches in their practice of pediatric cardiovascular medicine.
